I am an honest and caring person who has chosen photography as a 2nd career, who seems to be able to act a bit silly around kids. I love family, and nearly always have family near. With the love for my children & family, comes the love of photographs & video. I could truly spend my day getting caught up looking through our old albums and recordings from when our kids were little. As a child, movie nights often took place where Dad would get out the old slide projector and we would love seeing ourselves up on the big big white pull up screen.

I am also a wife and a Mum to three daughters, who are now all really adults (my youngest is just about turning 18). I have always loved children and dreamt the day I would have my own. When they were little, I loved to get them involved in craft, messy play and dress ups. I was our local playgroup’s team leader and purchasing officer (yes our playgroup even had fancy titles lol), so I had a great time creating play for the kids and were able to be the one buying all the dress ups and play equipment.

I loved setting up play areas for my own kids to play in. We had a great cubby house, and created a wonderful fairy garden. We often would make houses out of cardboard boxes to play in.

Within photography, I want to be able to create these wonderful ‘magic & wonder’ scenarios, allow the children to dress up, and see the sparkle in their eyes as they become a fairy, a pirate, or a princess in her pretty dress. I am quite happy to drag a dinghy upon a dry lake, a clawfoot bath into a paddock and fill it with a mermaid and pretend bubbles, all to create a magical experience for your child. To enable them to dress in boutique dresses, or a styled costume, and become someone in their imaginations.

I want to create these whimsical moments so you will look back at memories of you child and remember them as cute as they were; I can tell you from my perspective their childhood days fly by and before you know it they are all grown.

I would love to be the one to follow your baby from fresh newborn images, to their milestone photos and then onto their childhood photos.
